Professional Woman of the Year Award

The Professional Woman of the Year (PWOTY) award is a unique recognition opportunity, honoring the incredible contributions of local women in business. Every year, we ask the public to submit nominations to highlight amazing women playing pivotal roles in their business and our community. These individuals develop future leaders, mentor our children and peers, and give back in ways that impact us all.

Through the collective effort of our community and members, dozens of women are nominated each year. We encourage you to submit a nomination to honor an influential woman in your life. Nominations are due Monday, May 11th by 5:00pm. All nominees will then be invited to submit a full application for consideration, before May 31st. Finalists are selected by the Whatcom Women in Business Board of Directors and the winner is selected by the full WWIB Membership and unveiled at the Professional Women Awards Gala and Auction in October.
